"They are the neatest people, and Dick became a personal friend through the process. They were fair and their prices were very reasonable for all the work they did. They also have great design ideas. We had an idea of what we wanted, but Dick and his crew made it just so beautiful. They are craftsmen. We couldn't be more pleased. "Dick Ryerson is amazing. We wanted to do something very specific, and he was amazing in his ability to get us what we wanted. We wanted to do tumbled paverstones so that our landscaping had an antique look. He worked with me and the supplier and they both came down and looked at the site. When the wrong color of stone came from the supplier, Dick took back the whole lot and redid everything for no charge. It wasn't an easy site to work on—we have a gate and live on a steep hill—but they did it all. And their bid was very competitive. I had a general contractor bidding for the same job, the contractor told me to go with Appian Way because their bid was much lower than what the general contractor could offer."
