Jack Stack Driving School Inc in Concord CA serves Contra Costa County and Alameda County for teen driving courses, adult driving refresher courses and senior driving courses.

Dennis Stack and his wife Diane own Jack Stack Driving School. Dennis' father, Jack, was a driving instructor for 40 years starting and Piedmont High School and founded Jack Stack Driving School in 1992. Dennis served as Driving Safety Coordinator for FedEx for 11 years and competed in big rig driving competitions, winning the FedEx Rodeo in 2002, so his expertise in teaching driving skills and safety go back 20 years.

Other driving schools in Contra Costa County have marked cars so it's obvious a student driver is behind the wheel, sometimes making students more self-conscious or even causing other drivers to harass them during lessons. So Jack Stack Driving School keeps safety in mind and Diane Stack explains, "Students learn in newer Honda Civics that don't have student driver decals. Students like that because they blend in and get a real feel for driving, and parents appreciate the greater safety that provides."

They also give students the choice between female and male instructors.

Jack Stack Driving School teaches four 1 ½ hour lessons instead of two 3-hour lessons like most driving schools do. So students get more opportunities to practice driving and become comfortable before they test for their license.  They also get their students a discount on online driver's education for the written test though mycaliforniapermit.com by entering a special code for students of Jack Stack Driving School.

One customer named David said, "Dennis Stack has a modern approach using unmarked cars. He teaches the students how to drive defensively. 5 stars!"
